Reset "Most Used Apps"

So, right after installing W10, I spent a bunch of time messing around with the new Start Menu. I wound up removing a bunch of items from my "Most Used Apps" list by right-clicking on them and selecting "Do not show in this list".

I've not got my Start Menu setup the way I'd like it, but those apps I removed from the "Most Used Apps" list, of course, aren't showing up.

Does anyone know where or how to reset that "Most Used Apps" list?

Thanks!

Tim,

I've been digging for a solution to this for quite a bit. I have not had any success so far.

I'll keep watching this thread - hopefully someone will chime-in with a solution.

Yeah, me too. It seems like there should be some way - even if it's a manual registry edit - to reset that list. That "do not show in this list" data has to be stored SOMEWHERE.

Thanks for looking, though!

I have the exact same problem. Very frustrating. It should not be so hard to do a reset of the settings.

Also waiting, hope someone will come up with a solution.

I've been researching this for quite some time. I suspect the solution is in the last post to the thread on tenforums that you'll find searching for "default-start-menu-tiles" on Google. I'd give the link but Windows Central won't let me since I've not made enough posts yet.

However, I can't test it since I cant' get the tiledatamodelservice to stay stopped long enough to replace the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\TileDataLayer\vedatamodel.edb database with a fresh copy from a new user account.
