I had been waiting for the upgrade to win 10 on my win7sp1 64 bit pro laptop.. it had been reserved...there was an issue with one drive and it would not upgrade...soooo. I deleted one drive from that pc (didn't think that would help)..
Any way.. created a backup of that pc.. downloaded the Media Creation tool to the win7 pc.. first attempt failed.
Second attempt was successful..!! ..I now have Win 10 on my Lenovo with a regular drive ..I do not see to much difference between an ssd and a standard drive ..except for a slight difference in boot up time.
Patience is the key...it takes a while..
