Why doesn't my WiFi work after upgrading to windows 10

I installed windows 10 and everything was working fine. I updated to the next version when it updated me and my WiFi was limited. I have tried many different fixes like updating my drivers and using the command prompt. I did not have a VPN network when I updated to windows 10 and nothing that I have found seems to be working. I have fiddled around with every wifi and Internet setting that I could find and still nothing. Does anyone have any idea of how I can fix this?
I have also tried going back to windows 7 and for some reason it said that it cannot find the windows 7 file and my backup is corrupt. I have a windows 7 disk but would rather not reinstall it. My WiFi card is a "MiniPCI-E 802.11N WIFI + Bluetooth to PCI-E Wlan Wireless Card"
