Since I upgraded to Windows 10, I've lost the ability to attach files in gmail. Why?

Since I upgraded to Windows 10, I've lost the ability to attach files in gmail.

I was able to attach files using the combination of gmail and Windows 8. However, since I upgraded to Windows 10, I have been unable to attach the same files in gmail. The Attach files GUI opens, I select the file to attach, click OPEN, and the system goes back to the GUI without linking to the selected attachment. Double-clicking doesn't work, either. No attachment.

What browser are you using?

At any rate, trying clearing the internet cache of your PC. For this, I use CCleaner while the PC is in Safe Mode. You can keep your browsing history, but try clearing out the internet cache.

Afterwards, try attaching files again.
