Guess the title is self explanatory.

I have a windows 7 32 bit installation which I upgraded to Windows 10 32 bit. If I now do a clean install using a 64 bit version will windows automatically activate?

When I originally bought Windows 7 retail, I got both 32 and 64 versions in the box, with a single key that would work for either. That makes me think you might be able to go back and clean install the 64 bit version of 7, using your original key. Just a thought.

That seems like a long way around to try and achieve the end result wanted, which I also want to do. I've upgrade to Win 10 from Win 7 32 bit and also want to do a clean install on Win 10 64 bit. I also wanted to know if it is possible with the Win 10 licencing to have dual Win 10 boot config, i.e. the old 32 bit and the new 64 bit, as I'm sure I'll need to go back to the 32 bit version from time to time to check settings, etc. as part setting up the new 64 bit environment.
