Why do I have two folders for sent and deleted files in mail?

why 2 folders for sent and deleted files in mail?

When I open mail in windows 10 I have 2 files for sent and deleted..one sent and one sent items; one deleted items and one delete. They also need to be synced every time I open mail

One from your email server, the other one from your Microsoft email program. Doesn't matter if its Windows Phone, Windows Live Mail or Hotmail

Tips: The ones with added Items in it is added courtesy from Microsoft. Also check if there are Spam and Junk (MS terminology) folders.
