How can I create a copy of windows 10 on a USB stick?

I would like to have an original copy of windows 10 on a USB stick so that if my system becomes unstable, I can re-install/fix/boot from the USB drive.

I'm currently running windows 10.

Go here and run the download tool. Select the Create installation media for another PC option. This will download the ISO for you.

Use this tool from Microsoft to put the ISO on a USB drive.
