Windows Central Question
Wifi Unusable on Windows 10......
I am so frustrated that I am about to but a Mac. My family cannot use the home laptop that worked fine (almost fine!) on 8.1. The wifi is so slow but works fine on the ethernet.
So far I have:
Upgraded to Win 10. Had flickering screen.
Restored back to 8.1. Uninstalled icloud and Norton (forum advice)
Upgraded to Win 10.
Super slow wifi. Checked on my work machine and my wifes, getting over 30 Mbps. On the Win 10 machine, 5 Mbps and falling
Installed older driver for wifi card. No change
Took advice from another forum and reinstalled Win 10 from DVD (not OTA, as first two times).
Super slow wifi.
Reset routers to factory settings and tried again
Super slow wifi.
From another forum in here (http://forums.windowscentral.com/windows-10/371234-super-slow-wifi-windows-10-a.html) I pinged google and I am getting a lot of lost packets:
C:\Users\Stuart>ping google.com -n 20

Awful! I am about to give up on Windows, really. My family just wants a working laptop! Mac is where I a about to go.
Any help....please! I've spent two weeks and I've wasted enough time.
