Why doesn't Windows 10 see Windows Phone (1520) or video device when attached via USB?

Windows 10 doesn't "see" Windows Phone (1520) or video device when attached via USB

I have two devices which Windows 10 on my Surface Pro is failing to see - upon USB plug-in. The first is my 1520 running Preview for developers, the second is a video camera for my bicycle which records to a memory card.

Windows 10 sees neither of them, though it does recognize my Garmin when I plug that in.

Any ideas?

Go to device manager look for your phone click on it you should see a link / button to update or download the new phone app install it and everything should work again.

Didn't he just said Win 10 doesn't see his phone?
