Need suggestions for buying Windows 10

I want to buy Pro version of Windows 10 for my 64-bit configuration. But I noticed that Windows 8 is available at lesser price. So I have two choices.

1. Buy Windows 10 Pro (Rs.16000/-)
2. Buy Windows 8/8.1 Pro OEM and then upgrade it to Windows 10 Pro (around Rs.6000/-)

Is there any difference in approaches? Will I get the same Windows 10 subscription?

There is no difference, I suggest you get the W8.1 Pro for Rs. 6000, or even W7 for more even cheaper price if you can find it, then upgrade to 10 for free.
