Computer hangs when i right click a folder

I just bought a new laptop with Windows 10 preinstalled and the problem that I am facing is that whenever I try to right click a folder the computer hangs and the screen refreshes. I am unable to right click a folder or create a new sub folder in a folder. Can anyone please guide me what to do?
