How can I get a Windows 10 Serial Number?

Hi! I had Windows 10 few days ago still on my laptop but I had some issues with Wi-Fi. So I rolled back to Windows 7 and now want to go back to Windows 10 after fixing the issue. The problem is that I can't because the thing wants a serial number. How to go threw it?

Skip the serial and it will auto activate when running within a day. Providing you use the same Microsoft Account.

I don't know how. It keeps asking for serial number and the next buttom doesn't work. Disconnect from the Wi-Fi?

You should take a photo or anything showing where and how it says about the serial.
But did you check to see if Windows 7 is activated? maybe that's the serial that it's needed.
Because if you are upgrading from 7 to 10 it shouldn't ask for a serial and it should only verify you have a valid Windows 7 serial you can upgrade to Windows 10.

The only way it will ask you for a serial it's if you clean install Windows 10 on your computer. which you can do, without installing Windows 7. you clean install and it prompts you twice about a serial which is the one you can skip. and when windows 10 is installed it will detect your hardware it will activated because you were on windows 10 before.
But if you are rolling back and upgrading, it shouldn't ask for a serial. So it's hard to know when or why it asks you for a serial because it really shouldn't.
