Scale of modern apps is tiny, how can I change it?

So I decreased the display settings on my Windows 10 laptop from the recommended 150% to 125% so that I could have more room on my taskbar as well as a couple other reasons. One unexpected drawback is that now all of the modern apps that I use are filled with tiny text and smaller buttons. Is there a system setting or even a registry hack that could help with this?
