Is it useful to update the windows 10 download tool?

I will want to reinstall Windows 10 in the future but I would like for the reinstall to include all the updates Microsoft created since it was launched in July 2015 to save time. Will the content of the download tool update over time is my question. Thanks for the help!! )

The download tool will pull from the same source most likely. I don't know whether the source is updated or not.

Chances are it won't be updated unless there is a major update for the installer or they release a service pack.
