Skydrive folder

I still have a Skydrive folder under USER/SKYDRIVE which gets updated. Can I get rid of this folder and why would it still update files?

if you have both OneDrive and Skydrive, you can delete skydrive folder, because it's supposed to be useless since OneDrive app would be using the OneDrive folder.

it sounds strange you say it keeps updating it.

Maybe you can unlink OneDrive, for a moment, delete the folders and link it again? or kill the process and delete the folder, so you are sure it won't do anything to the files.
