I just bought a LG 34UM95C which is a QHD monitor capable of 3440x1440.
I have an HP Envy 700 which is an i7-4790, 24GB RAM, with an NVidia GeForce GTX 745 graphics card (4GB RAM). The max resolution I can see is 1920x1080, but per this site, I should be able to get a much higher resolution.

What can I do to get my graphics card to provide the full 3440x1440 resolution?

Thank you!

I believe I used the HDMI Cable. There was another cable in the box, I did not try yet. Does hdmi not support that resolution?

HDMI generally only supports 1080, unless it's version 1.3 (or something like this). Depends on both the cable and your computer's HDMI port. Can't go wrong with display port if you've got it.
