Can't get the Microsoft wireless display adapter to connect with windows 10

I can get the Microsoft sign "waiting to connect" on my tv but it won't connect. Doesn't show up on the connect page.

i am having the same issue on my SP3. i know its not the adapter because i can connect my Win10 Phone
