Help updating Windows 10 Education version

I have a few versions of Windows 10 on different devices, but on my main PC, I have Windows 10 education installed which was free through school (build 10240). It has not yet updated to any of the newer builds. I have opted into the fast ring insider builds in update settings but still no updates are available. Is this a limitation to the Education version? If so, I can only guess that 10240 is the current slow ring version and I would have to wait for another slow ring version to be released.
