How to get back my bookmarks after upgrading to windows 10?

I had windows 8 and was using an administrator account. I was using google chrome browser and all bookmarks was there. I didn't back up my bookmarks and after upgrading to windows 10 I can't find it. How can I import all my bookmarks from my old google chrome to a new one.

Chrome stores bookmarks in the "User Data" folder located under

C:\Users\<Windows userid>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\

Navigate to the User Data folder in Windows Explorer, right click on it and get the properties. Go to the Previous Versions tab and, if you are lucky, there will be a list of available backups. To restore a folder backup, highlight it and click the Restore button. If all goes well, you should see the message below that "The folder has been successfully restored to the previous version".

See if it helps.
