Windows 10 upgrade then no sound, how can I get sound back?

Windows 10 upgrade then no sound

After upgrading to Windows 10 I have no sound at all on any programs, sites, videos etc which had sound under windows 8.1

any suggestions welcome

Drivers. Check windows update to see if you can get them there, if not, you'll have to visit the manufacturer's website.

And make sure your speakers are plugged in. I've done that more than once lol
