Does Windows 10 come with some Norton protection?

Since installing Windows 10 my computer is trying to update some Norton update that will need to make changes on the hard drive. Should I allow this?

I doesn't come with Norton, but your PC probably did originally.
I would allow a Norton update, although I personally would use another A/V, but that's another thing

Microsoft doesn't make this extremely clear, but if you uninstall Norton, Windows Defender will activate. That is Microsoft's built in antivirus program.
