November Update failed

after downloading it for hours it turns out it just failed ( really MICROSOFT????

any fix for this guys?

Go to Windows "upgrade" and do it from there,. The normal "update" route failed for me too but then kept saying I was up to date, so tried the Microsoft download site to
"upgrade " and it worked with no loss of data or programs.

How did you avoid loss of programs? I was informed it would be a clean install.
