Update 10586.3 Stalls at 40% Overall 23% in Drivers on Nextbook Flexx NXW10QC32G

Title describes problem. Inet searching finds problems with original Win 10 update last summer failing at same spot. They say cause is SD driver, but not specific. Not updating from SD but regular Win 10 update in settings.

Any answers?

The official solution is to remove the SD card from the tray. This ought to solve it.

Remove SD (external storage) before starting update? I did remove it when stalled at 40% and it did not advance the update.
I did a hard shutdown and hard restart and it did restore to old version.
