My screen is now too bright in Windows 10, how can I adjust the brightness?

My screen is now too bright in Windows 10

After downloading Windows 10 my screen is now too bright. I can find no controls to adjust brightness now and none of the help listings found by Internet search seems to work. This should be the simplest thing to adjust but I am at a stand-still. PLEASE HELP.

Doesn't your device have dedicated buttons for this?

In an case go to settings (keyboard combo: win+i) > system > display

I had the same problem...where nothing changes the brightness, not even the dedicated buttons on the device. This is the solution that helped me.
