Windows 10 has me on a temp account, what does it mean?

Windows 10 has me on a "temp account"

I am the administrator of my computer. Windows 10 has me on a "temp" account, which wipes my data after I shut down my computer.
What does it mean "temp account"?
How do I "register", especially if this is my computer?

I see this when someone deletes the user's folder from the C:\Users folder, but doesn't actually delete the profile off the machine.

Are you signing in with a Live account, or are you using a local account on the PC? If it's a local account, just create yourself a new username on the PC and transfer all of your information from the old profile to a new one.
