Messages Not Sending Messages Thru Skype

Every time I try to send a message thru the message app it doesn't send thru Skype. It always fails to send . Is this happening to anyone else

tap the 3 dots (bottom right) > skype settings > make sure "make this my skype default" is selected

Did that but I notice some contacts send and some won't, doesn't do that ok my phone running 10 mobile

Do all of your contacts have skype accounts? If someone doesn't have a skype account you can't send them a message

You don't need to do this, I certainly haven't done that yet I can send to all my Skype contacts through messaging.
