Force Windows 10 November Update

I am trying to update my Surface 3 to the November update of Windows 10 and it failed twice due to a weird glitch where it would get stuck if it had a micro SD card in it. I have removed the card and am trying to update it now; but, the update doesn't come up as being available. Is there a way to get the most recent update downloaded to a flash drive or force the update to re-download?

Download Media Creation Tool x64 from official Microsoft page, select update, wait till it downloads about 3GB of data, that's it. I've done the same and it worked that way.
