Low Memory Warning?? Close program to prevent information loss

I've had my Surface Pro 3 running Windows 10 freeze up with a Low memory warning stating "Low Memory Warning- Close program to prevent information loss" multiple times lately and seems IE11 is listed as the issue, it did it again this morning and it right after a fresh start up and IE11 was the first and only program running with only 1 tab in use..
Any ideas why this is happening??
