Why can't I print from my computer since installing Windows 10?

My computer recognizes my printer as my selected device and prior to installing Windows 10 I could print easily.

Please check the website of your printer's manufacturer for updated drivers for Windows 10.

I have an old HP LaserJet 4Plus, and for the first many weeks after installing Windows 10, I had no problem. Now, over the last week or so, I can't print. My computer shows the printer as attached and as the default printer, but nothing prints. I don't know if this is the result of a OS update that got pushed out, but weird that I could print and now I can't.
