Windows freezing every 5/10 seconds after waking from sleep
Hey guys,
Not sure what the issue is, but every time I wake my laptop from sleep it becomes almost unusable. Just randomly freezes for a second every like 5 or 10 seconds.
Looking at the task manager shows cpu spiking (and sometimes HDD). When the 'freeze' happens even the task manager stops updating its numbers so I'm not able to identify which process is the culprit.
However whenever it comes out of the 'freeze' state and the task manager updates it's number, I see cpu usage > 30% on the "System and compressed memory" process.
I have an i7559 dell inspiron laptop, installed all the latest drivers from the dell website and did a fresh install of windows.
i5-6300HQ,
1tb hdd + 256gb ssd
16gb ram.
Thanks in advance
