Pandora randomply plays

So i'm not sure if it's just me or not, but in installed Pandora a couple of weeks ago.

Pandora will randomly start playing music. Doesn't matter if the laptop is idle or actively being used, it will start playing.

I've stopped the process multiple times and that hasn't stopped it, even after restarts too.

Sooooo annoying.

Some apps run themselves in the background as part of a prefetch, so you have more instant access. It's definitely a bug and should be reported to Pandora for a fix. In the meantime you might try turning Pandora off in the background - Settings - Privacy - Background Apps. The downside is that you can't put Pandora in the background and have it continue playing.

I'm experiencing this as well. I actually did try going into those background settings and turning Pandora off and I just found it playing again anyway.

The strange thing is that I actually find that on the mobile side, this app actually drops out of background audio more than the WP8 version did. Sometimes I pause the music and later find that I have to go back into the app to play it again since it's not in the audio drop-down.

Was emailing their support last week to make them aware.

They just pushed an update. Claims its fixed. Let's hope this is true.

Yeah, I've had no recurrence of Pandora starting to play in the background in the last week or so since one of those updates.
