Windows 10 Store Error 0x803f7000

Hi All

I'm having an issue where I'm unable to download/update any apps from the windows 10 store (on the Minix Z64 mini PC). I have tried everything which has been suggested in various other forums (including Microsoft's). The error code displayed is 0x803f7000

I have tried the following with no success:
- Checking date/time/region (all correct)
- Reset the windows store with WSRESET.EXE (multiple times)
- Ran the windows 10 store troubleshooter app
- Synced the internet time server

Can anyone suggest a possible solution I haven't tried?
I'd appreciate any help

I have tried everything you tried, and a couple other things as well, but nothing helped. So i got in touch with MS support chat, and all they could do in the end was to advise me to reset my surface.

Settings -> update and security -> recovery -> get started -> keep files

The last one will keep all your partitions intact, but you will need to reinstall all the programs, updates and also apps (not sure about the apps as mine didn't install at all before this fix).

After the reset, it will take about an hour the store will work. At least mine did...

Thanks for the reply

I've also been considering resetting it.

Does reset ask for installation media during the recovery or does it use install files which are already on the drive ?
I'm asking because what I have is a mini PC with Windows 10 preinstalled. It did not come with any installation media. I also don't have the serial key on hand as it wasn't provided in the package.

Hey

It will use the files from the drive, it won't even download them. In my case, it did not need any serial key, and mine was also preinstalled on my Surface pro 4. So everything should be the same and very easy to do. I wished for an easier way but unfortunately there is no...

Ok Thanks, I will try resetting it. Hopefully it will work and the store issues will be resolved. This has become extremely frustrating and Microsoft should be getting serious with this issue since so many people are having it. :eck:

I know. I have been there too ☺ Best of luck

I have the same problem on my "new" Surface Pro 3. Seems it is related to a corrupt account. I created a new account on my device, and was able to download the apps. Then when I went back to the original account I was able to install them there as well. I don't want to have to switch everything over to the new account, but it might come to that if I can't figure out some way to repair the original account. I don't know of anything that would have corrupted the account, but I have read other people saying it is due to the upgrade from W8 to W10. Just for reference. I tried everything here including reinstalling W10, but didn't have any luck until I created another account.
