Task View (Virtual Desktops), does it require a set up after each bootup?

Task View (Virtual Desktops)

I've just started using Virtual Desktops on my Windows 10 Pro Laptop & wondered if the layout(s) of apps was preserver through power cycles (Reboots/shutdown & startup, or if they require setting up after each bootup?

No, you must recreate your virtual desktops after each reboot. I think this is a major shortcoming and renders the feature almost useless.

Ok thanks. It seems almost pointless to me, to have a Virtual Desktop feature & not keep the layout through boot & power cycles.
