Windows 10 - Thread Stuck in Driver

When I installed Windows 10 last year when I first had the option of the free upgrade on my HP Envy laptop, I did it right away. Right after that, I started getting a thread_stuck_in_driver error that caused my computer to restart when running World of Warcraft. I tried updating all of my drivers and anything else I could, but the problem persisted. Since then, I have refreshed my computer back to Windows 8.1 since I never had that problem. I am wondering if the issue that caused this has been resolved since then so I can upgrade to Windows 10 again.
