How to check which program is using webcam?

I recently noticed my webcam is always on for no reason. How do I check which application or process is using webcam now?

Click on the Start button (Windows icon), then type "Privacy settings"... click on the search result that appears named "Privacy Settings".

In the settings page, click on "Camera". There you will see all apps that have access to your webcam. Just toggle off the switch as needed.
