Stuck at 99: how can I get Windows 10 to finish installing?

Stuck at 99%

When I was upgrading my laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.It got stuck for almost 24 hours and still in 99% .Please help!

Reboot. Force power down by holding the power button about 5 seconds. (I know. it makes you grind your teeth, but sometimes it is the only way.) Wait a minute and then power on.

It may start right up, it may complete the process this time.
