Time to upgrade to 10?

is it now the best time to upgrade to 10? i saw my colleagues using 10 already but i notiiced some performance issues like freezes and worrying about my installed applications i use in school if it will be compatible(tho i read that 8.1 apps is accessible in 10) .I'm still in 8.1 environment having 2gb ram and celeron processor. advice please?

with 2GB RAM it will work though some tasks will be slow. Right now the OS is quite stable

When I did an upgrade from 8.1 to 10 from the insider program, all of my 8.1 apps came with; even the ones that are unavailable in the store to W10 users.

If you do a flash, you will lose access to those apps; unless you re-download them before upgrading to 10. So far, I haven't noticed any performance issues with 8.1-exclusive apps except Proshot (photos don't delete unless I do so via File Manager)

I love Windows 10, it's very slick looking and has an overall better feel than 8.1. There's a few negligible glitches on my Lumia 830, but nothing I lose sleep over.
