Paired phone won't connect with laptop for Office Remote

My Android phone is paired with my laptop and with my desktop. Office Remote is on all three devices. Office Remote works with desktop but phone fails to connect with laptop. Laptop and Desktop both running W10. Any suggestions? All drivers are latest, all devices "working properly", don't think firewall an issue, but who knows. Any help?
