How To Make Windows 10 Stay On

Can anyone tell me how I can stop my windows 10 computer from shutting down. Often times I will have it to a task that requires it to stay on while I take advantage of sleeping. However, next morning I find a task not done cause windows 10 shutdown. I do not believe it is hibernating. From power options I see I have it set to "never turn off" but it appears that it still does. I need to press the power button to get it to power up again. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Right click your start button, select command prompt and type in powercfg /getactivescheme.

That should tell you which scheme is actually active and try changing the the powerplan settings for that scheme.

Or create a new custom scheme and set that to active.

Also are you using a desktop or laptop?
