How long it takes to check for update...?

03.2015 last update. I wonder how long/ many hours it will take to check(not install). For now its about few hours.

Are you using insider program to get insider versions? And is this on a pc?

once you join insider program and enrol in one of the rings, it can take a day for the windows update to detect the new builds. So you just have to be patient

Finally. About 187 updates. I did push the button, hope I get some sleep tonight.

Actually, I got W7 for now and it took about 6-7 hours to find, then about 15hours to dwn and install it. Installing new windows would be faster
