It didn't work with me too . But for some unknown reason it worked when I restarted my laptop .

Installed in my Win10 desktop without error. Once I double-clicked on the d/loaded program, nothing happened for a while but a shortcut was placed on the desktop.
It is just like the web version, we have to scan the QR code by an existing whatsapp mobile/tablet. The browser version doesn't have facility for sharing documents but this does !

I did the same used the QR Code. One thing it said that my battery was low on the phone and it was 63%.
