So I'm a big fan of Windows 10, on both PC and mobile, but my roommate just doesn't care about it. So, every time her PC prompted her to upgrade, she said "no."

And then today, WHILE SHE WAS USING IT, her laptop restarted and went into the upgrade.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have seen other stories on here of it happening.
Your flatmate can always rollback to Windows 8 if she doesn't get on with Windows 10.

Happened to a friend of mine as well. The EULA will show up after the install is completed with the option of rolling back to Windows 8 if you don't accept it.

Forcing upgrades on people without their consent is beyond deplorable.
