MS Office Shortcut Bar does not work in WIN 10

I imported MS Office 97 Shortcut Bar into WIN 7 and it worked. It does not work in WIN 10 upgrade. The Shortcut Icons show the correct program location but when clicked I get a "cannot run this program or open this file" message. The shortcut works in the folder but not in the bar.

You'll find that the programmes will run from the shortcut bar if you right-click and select "Open" - now I just have to find out how to get the icons to work.

And yes, we're all using an antique bit of tech in Windows 10, because nothing beats the Office Shortcut Bar for convenience and customisability. I have all sorts of strange things on mine - links to dictionaries and home-made programmes and so on.

Folders and Junctions for folders work (icons and exec). Hard links for executables and documents *sometimes* work. If the exec or doc requires a dll or a sub-folder, it can't find the reference to it.
