Windows Central Question
Why won't my headphones work
So I updated my laptop to windows 10, and before the upgrade I was perfectly able to plug my headphones in and they simply played, but now that obviously isn't the case. I plug them in and they make the static sort of noise in my ears that would signify that they're are successfully plugged in, but every time I play audio it just goes to my speakers even though the headphones are plugged in. I got all the windows updates I could, I updated all the drivers I could, I tried a different pair of headphones, and I went into the sound menu (where in the playback tab they weren't even listed). I don't know what to do next.
