Project My Screen app (W10) stopped working properly, please help!

Edit: alt-tabbing does nothing and keeps me locked in the project my screen app unless I close the app entierely.

I need this for a project!

So, the Project my screen app was working fine for a day (connected to my w10phone). However, today the app will NOT let me switch between tabs if it is running. If I try to switch tabs in any form, it brings be back to the project app. Even if I have multiple things running in the background, I cannot switch to anything. I also cannot minimize or make the project app window smaller. Even pressing Windows key + page down does nothing! The only remedy is to exit the app altogether. How can I get this to work the way it WAS working before? I.E., able to switch between apps and minimize the screen while running?

I tried redownloading and restarting my pc, no avail. Anyone know?

Yes, it does nothing, I edited my OP to include this.

Does this only happen with the project my screen app? Is there a chance you accidentally turn on tablet mode?

Was trying it out on my PC and realized I had the same problem. Just found out you have to hit the ESC key to leave full screen .
