Windows 10 Creators Update - New Articles about release accurate, or just misinformed?

According to new articles posted within the last day, multiple sources claim that the Windows 10 Creators update will "take months to roll out to everyone." They also mention a new version of the Windows 10 Update Assistant that will download the Creators Update to users who would like a more prompt place in line. ISO files are not mentioned in these articles. Isn't this what the ISO's are for, or has Microsoft replaced the ISO with this new tool?

I just watch a Windows Central video on this on YouTube. It looks good, it has a new voice set up that guides you through a clean install. And a few other features added to Microsoft Edge, etc... It probably will take a while to rile out to everyone but I'm not so sure about "month(s)" though, I could be wrong.
