Windows 10 creator's update performance flaws

I think Microsoft has done a terrible job in optimizing performance of creator's update.
On my laptop if I enable transparency effects in colour settings, the start menu animation starts going choppy, and in task manager, I can see desktop manager hitting high CPU usage.
This is completely unacceptable on a public release. If this is not fixed I won't be able to enjoy fluid design as it is based entirely on transparency. I already see its repercussions in myTube! where the new blur design is implemented and it only works when the transparency effects are switched on. Anyone else facing similar issues? I am on 15063.332

Yea somehow some of my apps that has a little bit of fluent design does decreased the performance. Now I'm curious if this fluent design really make my Windows more stable, or more power consumption.

Hey buddy007

You might need to check your video card drivers.
These effects should be rendered by your GPU, not your CPU.
It sounds like windows failed to use hardware acceleration for these desktop effects.
I have simple integrated Intel graphics and everything runs very smoothly (did a clean install though).

I'm on 15063.332 also.

I never noticed any problems, with any update so far.
I keep my video card updated and that's about it, I don't bother with the other drivers.
