Hello everyone!
I have a strange problem. Windows Update & Windows Store (downloading & update) are not working properly. It's working only after I wake up my laptop from sleep, and only for a limited time.

I reinstalled Windows few times, but it didn't help at all. After Windows is installed, all I can see is "Searching for updates". But when I put my laptop to sleep and then wake up - it works. But then, after some time it stuck again.

Same problem with the Windows Store.

But the internet works and everything else works fine. I can browse internet, download everything and play online games.

So can anybody help me, please?

Hi bro
Did you accidentally trim off the firewall of PC I am also having problem with my apps they are not working but I can browse the internet u can find that if your firewall is blocking your apps or your antivirous
Thanks

That's strange, because its broken from the start. How can I trim off the firewall?

And by the way, everything works just great on my PC, which uses same Wi-Fi. So I don't think it's problem with my router.

Something broken from the start, but I don't know what. Maybe some setting, or feature.

Update can be limited by what "operating times" you set? Check to see if you have it set to update during hours that the machine is on? Anyway, just an idea.

Well, recently I installed Fall Creation Update, and nothing have changed.
Updates are downloading only when I put my laptop to sleep, right after I boot up.

So it looks like this: I turn on my laptop, waiting to full boot up, then put to sleep -> wake up. And only then I can download any updates, from Windows Update and Windows Store.

And then, after some time it stop working again.

And its only happens to Windows Update and Windows Store. Everything else works fine. I can browse internet, download everything I want etc.

Guys, help me please.

P.S. Windows was freshly installed. Few times. This problem started after Creators Update back in April.

Oh, and there is no such problem with my PC, which uses the same network.
