Flash player does work in Edge

Following update KB4020102 my Edge failed to load. After around 16 hours of technical support, using Premier Assist, yesterday my Edge was recovered after a long series of steps to correct corrupted Registry keys and running a Tweaking.com repair programme.

Now my Flash Player does not work in Edge!

I have checked and it is installed (as part of Edge I believe) but does not show in the Apps list and have verified that it is enabled. I have also 'allowed' the use of Flash Player at all times. Interestingly, Flash Player works perfectly in IE.

I would appreciate any help to resolve the problems, as I really don't want to use MS support after my marathon sessions of late.

Hello!
When trying to run a flash player content, you'll find a jigsaw like button in the toolbar, click and allow!

I wish people would transcode all remaining Flash content to MP4, and just let native Flash go away. . .

Shouldn't Flash be automatically off since last update? Edge still says ON here, but content doesn't work as it should. Adding pics on Ebay for example doesn't work as it should, says to install Flash.

Oldman which tweak did u install? Now everything works fine?

Honestly I didn't know flash was still a thing, haven't needed it in 3 or 4 years.
