Messenger App will no longer allow me to send or reply to group texts, send or play videos.

I have a Nokia Lumia Icon. Within the last 6 months or so, I have developed this problem with the messenger app. I receive group texts but cannot respond. I receive videos, but can't play them. It is not Verizon that is causing it. I can do all of those things on the Verizon messaging App. I'm sure I'm late to the party on this but it is aggravating. Can anyone offer advice? Thanks.

Did You try to uninstall the app and install it again? That helped me a lot times, if the app was updated more that 2 times, I'd recommed it...

Thanks for your response. This is the Microsoft Messaging App. I tried to uninstall it but it doesn't give me that option.

Are you running a release build? You may need to wipe and refresh. I would also check and ensure that you have available memory, clean out old messages, etc.
